Guests of Goldeneye, the chic Island Outpost resort and former hideaway of James Bond creator Ian Fleming, can now benefit from the proximity of Stingray City, Jamaica, located at James Bond Beach, a 10-minute walk from Goldeneye’s back door in neighboring Oracabessa.

“Stingray City is the latest addition to Goldeneye’s exciting amenities and excursions,” said Jenny Wood, the resort’s general manager. With the leadership of experienced guides, four groups a day now have the opportunity to meet the twenty-seven stingrays that call James Bond Beach home.

Visitors six years old and up can work with guides individually for their own personal stingray experience feeding the creatures, touching their silky wings and posing for photos. Complimentary snorkeling gear gives a clear underwater view of Goldeneye’s new neighbors in action.

After their encounter, guests can relax at the James Bond Beach Bar & Grill or shop at the James Bond Beach Craft Shop, which offers logo items, Stingray Tattoos and unique community crafted gift items. Admission for the stingray experience, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, is $55 for adults and $25 for children.
