El Al is to launch a Monday morning flight with its refurbished 767 fleet from Heathrow to Tel Aviv.

Operating between end October 2007 and end March 2008, it will compliment the existing twice daily service.

This new flight will allow business travellers to arrive into Tel Aviv early afternoon for a more productive working day.

It will depart Heathrow at 08:05 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 14:50.

This year, the Israeli airline completed a £3.5 million refit of its business class cabin throughout its 767 fleet.

Seat pitch has been increased from 48 to 55 inches and new “cradle” seats recline 165 degrees.

Each seat now has an 110v power point for passengers with laptops and satellite phones.
