First Crown Plaza in Denmark

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the owner of the Crowne Plaza brand, announced the signing of a franchise agreement with CPH Hotel Management A/S for the new Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers. The new-build hotel will open in late summer 2009, comprising 365 guest rooms. This will include four suites and 39 club rooms. The hotel will also feature a restaurant plus a contemporary bar and lounge. The conference and events center offers 20 meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 800 delegates. The new Crowne Plaza property is an integrated part of the commercial development Copenhagen Towers, developed by Sjaelsoe, one of Scandinavia’s largest property developers.
