June 2, 2008 on 9:33 am | In Israel, Middle East | Comments Off
A group of Israel supporters launched a new Friends of Israel Website that supports Israel’s 60th Birthday Anniversary Celebration website. The website aims to strengthen global support for Israel. Friends of Israel’s 60th Birthday Celebration Website, www.israelbirthday.com, enables people to post a personal Happy Birthday Card to Israel.
Every supporter’s name, photo, and message will be placed on the website for the world to see. In addition, all supporters posting on the site will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes to win an all-expense-paid trip to Israel for two. Proceeds will be distributed among Israel’s leading charities.
The Friends of Israel’s website is expected to reach over 40 million people and aims at generating over two million dollars for participating Israeli charities which include the Jewish National Fund, Nefesh B’Nefesh, American Friends of Magen David Adom, the One Family Fund, Aish, Yad Sarah, Yad Eliezer, StandWithUs, Chai Lifeline and others.
