The Las Vegas Strip’s Only Country Bar Now Open, Featuring Live Music, Dance Floor

LAS VEGAS— Dixie’s Dam Country Bar threw open its doors at Hooters Casino Hotel Las Vegas Memorial Day weekend, complete with a Hooters-style “cattle drive” on Friday, May 23, and a performance by country music star, Joe Diffie, on Saturday, May 24. The Strip’s only country bar, Dixie’s features live music nightly by Scotty Alexander and the Smok’n Nashville Band and the New Country Strings, along with special performances by other bands.

The 3,000-square-foot Dixie’s Dam Country Bar offers rustic country décor complete with a wooden dance floor and an island bar staffed entirely by women dressed in Dixie’s signature style – a button-down sleeveless top tied at the waist and short shorts, of course. Plus, their line-up of all-female DJs are easy on the eyes as well as on the ears.

Dixie’s Dam Country Bar is open 7 p.m. till the party stops, Wednesday through Saturday nights.
