Artist Info: Jack Ingram got his start in music writing songs and performing, while attending college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. In 2005, Ingram released the album Live: Wherever You Are on Big Machine, which produced his first number one hit on the Billboard Country chart, “Wherever You Are.” Also from that album was “Love You,” which went to number 12 on the same chart. Just a year later, Ingram released a cover of the Hinder song “Lips of an Angel” which peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Country chart and was the lead single to his 2007 release on Big Machine This is It. Throughout Ingram’s touring, he has performed with pop and country legends such as Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson and LeeAnn Womack. Just this past May, Ingram won the Academy of Country Music award for top new male vocalist.
