Fred. Olsen Reduces Fares on 2009 World Cruises

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has announced fare reductions and segment availability on its two World Cruises for 2009, with segment savings of up to 78 percent off the brochure price.

 The 97-night World Cruise on Black Watch departs Southampton on Jan. 6, sailing westward through the Caribbean, transiting the Panama Canal and visiting ports in the South Pacific, Australia and Tasmania, Indian Ocean islands, South Africa, West Africa, Cape Verde, Tenerife and Portugal before returning to Southampton.

The reduced tariff for the full cruise includes a $950 onboard credit, pre-night hotel stay in Southampton, roundtrip transfers from a London airport to the port and back to the airport and an air credit of up to $300 per person. Cruise fares start at $21,590 per person, double occupancy, including port charges.

Click Here for Your BEACH GEARTwo segments of the Black Watch World Cruise are now available at substantial savings. Segment BW95131 will depart Sydney, Australia, on Feb. 22 and arrive in Southampton on April 13 with fares as low as $11,242 per person, double occupancy, and a $450 onboard credit.

BW95123 departs Papeete, Tahiti, on Feb. 5 and arrives in Sydney on Feb. 22. Fares start at $1,540 per person, double occupancy, for a savings of 78 percent off the brochure price.

 The ship will sail through the Mediterranean en route to India, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Japan, Alaska, and the west coast of North America before heading home through the Caribbean and the Azores.

Cruise fares start at $17,325 per person, including port charges and a $950 onboard credit, a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay in Dover, round-trip transfers from a London airport to the port and back to the airport, and an air credit of up to $300 per person. A segment of this World Cruise from Seattle to Acapulco (BL0343A) is now available.
