 Train Chartering – A BriefingThe elegant Majestic Imperator is modelled on the imperial train of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It will be running every week, April – October 2009, between Vienna and Munich. Passengers will enjoy fine dining, an excellent cellar and Strauss waltzes in royal surroundings.

The onboard chef prepares fine dining, arguably better than that served to their Imperial Majesties, served by impeccable stewards and enjoyed to the sound of Viennese waltzes.

This superb train is to operate weekly April to October between Vienna and Munich.

Every Thursday, 23rd April until 8th October 2009, the route will be:
Vienna Westbahnhof
Melk
Linz
Salzburg
Prien am Chiemsee
Innsbruck
Seefeld
Garmisch Partenkirchen
Munich Hauptbahnhof Starnberg

The route is in reverse, every Saturday 25th April to10th October 2009.

The route is divided into 4 Zones:
Zone A: Vienna – Linz or Linz – Vienna
Zone B: Linz – Salzburg or Salzburg – Linz
Zone C: Salzburg – Innsbruck or Innsbruck – Salzburg
Zone D: Innsbruck – Munich or Munich – Innsbruck

The fare is very good value in view of the experience and the lasting memories:
85 euros per Zone, travel only (food and drink onboard may be purchased onboard)
110 euros per Zone, travel with fine dining (excl. drinks)

In other words:
Vienna to Munich, one way travel, 340 euros; same price for the return.
With fine dining, 440 euros.

A suggestion – use the train for probably the best way to travel on earth for a leisurely tour between these attractive European cities, spending a week each in one or more cities of choice.

If looking for a memorable family or corporate event, hire a private carriage or for the deeper pockets, the whole train from Train Chartering.

There is not a comparable luxury train experience anywhere in Europe wth such a flexible timetable and reasonable fares; it is probably unique, worldwide.
