The Jamaica Tourist Board is highlighting its most recent developments including the newly opened Iberostar Rose Hall Suites, with 319 units, joining its sister property, Iberostar Rose Hall Beach.

A third and final phase will be Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall which will open its doors for guests by the end of this year, and will showcase 296 rooms. Iberostar Grand will be an adults-only, five-star property. With all three properties on line, this will bring their total room count to 975 units.

The Solis Palmyra Resort & Spa will open in March with 299 guest rooms plus one-, two-, three- and four- bedroom suites, penthouses and private villas. The property features a 30,000 square-foot ESPA spa, an ocean-view fitness center and access to three of the Caribbean’s finest golf courses at close proximity.

Formerly known as Couples Ocho Rios, Couples Tower Isle has set re-opening date for March. (The property was renamed in deference to a historical reference to its earlier beginnings.)

The hotel closed its doors last year spring for extensive renovation and will re-open with the addition of 20 new units bringing total room count to 226. The Rose Hall Resort & Spa, now a Hilton resort, recently underwent major renovation in its main lobby area and all guest rooms. It has easy access to a championship golf course, Cinnamon Hill, and only 15 minutes by car from the Montego Bay airport. Another property that has recently seen a major renovation in its guest rooms and landscaping is Breezes Runaway Bay Golf Resort & Spa.
