Due to the past popularity of the Northern Fijian Dateline Cruise, Captain Cook Cruises has added an extra departure date to the schedule for 2009, for a total of eight scheduled departures for the year.

The departure dates are listed as March 31, May 5, June 2, June 30, August 4, September 1, October 6 and November 3, 2009.The seven night Northern Fijian Dateline Cruise reveals the unique history, art and culture of the Northern Fiji Islands and allows passengers the experience of standing on the International Dateline. Developed after months of extensive research and searching for secluded and exclusive locations, passengers are taken beyond the Yasawa Islands to very remote and exotic tropical Fijian islands.
