Tee-Off In Tallinn

More Greens...Less Fees - Get Golf Card!
Just two-and-a-half flying hours away from the UK is one of Europe’s few remaining ‘undiscovered’ golf destinations.
Estonia may be the smallest of the Baltic countries but it has plenty to offer visitors, as many people from these shores have discovered in the last few years.

The cobbled streets and the Renaissance, baroque and classical buildings of the capital, Tallinn, belie a 21st century offering. And that incongruity is never more apparent than at the Estonian Golf & Country Club, just 25 minutes from the mediaeval capital.

One of just eight official PGA European Tour courses in Europe – alongside the likes of Quinta do Lago, in Portugal, and the PGA Golf de Catalunya, Spain – the Estonian Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of golf located within a beautiful natural setting: the 18-hole Sea Course and the nine-hole Stone Course.

Both layouts have been constructed in full compliance with United States Golf Association (USGA) requirements and were designed by the respected Finnish course designer Lassi Pekka Tilander.

On the doorstep of one of Europe’s most attractive cities, on the banks of the Gulf of Finland, the Estonian Golf & Country Club is ideally situated for a getaway for UK golfers and the club is offering some outstanding spring and summer savings, with packages from €371 per person including three nights’ city-centre accommodation, three rounds of golf and transfers.

New Napa Valley Connection

A new shuttle link has been introduced that will allow San Francisco guests and residents to make an easy, and car free, trip to Napa Valley.

(NAPA, CA) The Napa Valley Wine Train and Platypus Tours have teamed up to offer a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to travel from San Francisco to Napa Valley. Now a new, direct shuttle service creates an express link from the San Francisco ferry to downtown Napa.

This shuttle currently makes one round trip a day from the Vallejo Ferry Terminal to the Napa Valley Wine Train station.

Avoid traffic; Enjoy Nature

Guest can now leave San Francisco’s Ferry Building in the morning, cruise the Richmond and San Pablo Bays to Vallejo and catch the special shuttle to the centrally located Napa Valley Wine Train Station in downtown Napa.

BayLink buses and ferry’s leave San Francisco at 8:10 every morning to the Vallejo Ferry Terminal where guests catch the new shuttle; arriving in downtown Napa by 9:30 am.

Due to current highway congestion in the Bay Area, driving this same route could take much more time than this simple car(e) free solution.

Lunch on the Wine Train; Explore Downtown Napa

Experience any of the Napa Valley Wine Train’s lunch or winery tour packages. Then enjoy an afternoon to yourself wine tasting, shopping, or indulging in spa treatments.

The Wine Train departs daily at 10:30 am for lunch and winery tours returning to the station at 2:30.

Shuttle passengers have one hour in the morning and two hours in the afternoon to explore before leaving the station at 4:30 pm.

The Oxbow Public Market, the Hatt Building and downtown Napa shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

Ferry prices range up to $26 round trip.

Tickets are purchased at the Ferry terminal. Shuttle service costs $15 round trip and is added to the price of your Wine Train package.

This executive shuttle is maintained and managed by Platypus Tours, but reservations are made by calling the Wine Train 24-hours in advance of your trip: (800) 427-4124.
