Marriott and JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts are offering weekend vacation getaways this summer with free movie tickets.

Beginning this past Friday, guests can receive four free movie tickets to Universal Pictures’ comedy-adventure “Land of the Lost” starring Will Ferrell, or any other movie of their choice this summer, at participating theaters, when they book a weekend vacation getaway (Thursday-Sunday) at participating Marriott and JW Marriott hotels in the U.S. and Canada.

Guests must book by Sept. 7 for weekend vacation getaways that occur now through Sept. 7.

In addition, all guests who book this promotion will automatically be entered into the “Land of the Lost” Summer Sweepstakes.

This grand prize is a four-day/three-night trip for four to Los Angeles, which includes roundtrip air transportation, car rental, hotel accommodations and four tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood.

Ten first prize winners will receive a one-year supply of movie tickets. The offer is valid for weekend stays June 5 through Sept. 7, 2009 at participating Marriott Hotels and Resorts and JW Marriott Hotels and Resorts in the continental U.S. and Canada.

Stays must be booked between June 3 and Sept. 7, 2009. Guests must stay over a Friday or Saturday night to receive the offer. Guest will receive one voucher per room, per stay, redeemable for four free movie admissions at participating theaters to see Land of the Lost or any other movie in market during the promotion timeframe. Guest must redeem their voucher at www.marriottmovieoffer.com.

The voucher must be redeemed by Oct. 31, 2009. Movie admission is valid for one month after online redemption. One Marriott Hotels and Resorts Summer Guide will be handed out per stay, while supplies last.

Stay for Breakfast rate includes breakfast for up to two adults and children age 12 and under. The offer is not applicable to groups of 10 or more.
