Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is offering a Life Balance Ayurvedic Package. Designed by the hotel’s very own Ayurvedic doctor, and available until March 31, 2010, this two-day package is priced from $1,809 per night, based on double occupancy.

Included are a minimum two-night stay in a Deluxe River Wing Room inclusive of buffet breakfast for one or two people; late check-out, subject to availability; roundtrip BMW 730 Ld limousine transfers; and a selection of Ayurvedic treatments for one or two people, including Keraleeya Abhyangam, a warm herbal oil body massage that is followed by a steam session and body scrub and is beneficial for relaxation and rejuvenation;

Shirodhara, which improves sleep, relieves stress, calms the mind and the warm oil is also beneficial for the hair and scalp;

Urdwangam, an Indian head massage that concentrates on the back, shoulders, head and neck muscles; Kizhi, which improves overall circulation and tension by massaging the muscles with warm bundles of herbal powder;

Urdwartanam, a dry herbal powder body massage that aids cellulite and improves overall circulation while gently exfoliating the skin; a half-hour back and foot massage, which concentrates on pressure points to relax and rejuvenate the body;

and a one-hour private yoga class, to balance the mind and body with a professional teacher.

Additional nights inclusive of buffet breakfast are available for $400 per room per night.
