The Brown Palace in Denver has announced the 22nd Champagne Cascade to honor the Broncos 50th Anniversary on Nov. 8, with appearances from Denver Broncos alumni, cheerleaders and Miles, the mascot. The celebration begins at noon, when a master swordsman severs the necks of champagne bottles. Once opened, the champagne will be poured into the uppermost glass of an elaborate 6,000-glass pyramid rising nearly two stories in the hotel’s atrium lobby. Following the ceremony, patrons can have complimentary photos taken in front of the cascade with Denver Broncos cheerleaders, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Floors 4 to 7 will be open to the public with free admission.

Reservations are not required to view the event. Tickets for a special VIP area with premier viewing of the event and unlimited champagne, beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres, are available for $50 per person, with all proceeds going toward supporting the Denver Rescue Mission, a Denver Broncos nonprofit beneficiary. Reservations for the VIP area can be made online.

The hotel also is offering a package in conjunction with the event. The Bubbly & Broncos package includes premier viewing via the VIP viewing package, champagne truffles and a commemorative DVD of the cascade’s assembly and the event. The package is valid Nov. 7 only and starts at $230 per room.
