Air New Zealand Twitter Trivia Contest
November 4, 2009 on 7:47 pm | In Adventure Travel, Airlines, Australia, Fiji Islands, New South Wales, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Sydney, Victoria | Comments OffNew Zealand has launched “Kiweets” — a game that offers 30 chances to win a roundtrip flight to New Zealand.
As part of its “Make Flying Fun Again” campaign, the airline will ask daily trivia questions about New Zealand, with players sending their response to @kiweets for the chance to win one of 30 flights.
Players are encouraged to enter once a day for the 30 days of the contest, answering questions such as “We New Zealanders go by the name of a furry, flightless bird (and yes, a furry, flightless fruit).
What is it?”
The 30 economy-class ticket winners will be chosen at random from among the correct responses.
Tweeters will also accumulate points toward a grand prize — the faster the response, the more points they receive — and the player with the highest score at the end of the contest will win a round-trip Business Premier ticket to New Zealand.
