Edinburgh’s Balmoral Unwraps Christmas Package

Since 1902, Rocco Forte’s The Balmoral has been welcoming guests to Edinburgh during the Christmas season with roaring fires, holiday decorations and views of Edinburgh Castle and across the city.
This season’s Balmoral Christmas Family Package allows parents who book one guest room for a minimum of three nights from Dec. 21 to 27 to receive a complimentary adjoining room for children, a full Scottish breakfast for two adults and two children, and complimentary use of the Balmoral Health Club for the entire family.
A Christmas tree will be placed in the parents’ guestroom for families to decorate with holiday ornaments courtesy of The Balmoral.
For families booking The Balmoral Christmas Family Package for stays over Dec. 23 and 24, children will have a chance to attend a Christmas culinary party where even the youngest of guests can help prepare and decorate Christmas biscuits and cookies in the shape of The Balmoral’s famous Clock Tower, all under the supervision of the property’s chef.
The city of Edinburgh will also be celebrating over this period with a funfair on The Mound, featuring the Highland Market, ice skating, a Ferris wheel and German Market.
Book one bedroom at The Balmoral, and receive an interconnecting room for the children complimentary; complimentary Scottish breakfast for two adults and two children; complimentary food for children under 3; 50 percent discount on food for children under 12; junior accessories, bath amenities, dressing gowns and slippers; and complimentary use of the Balmoral Health Club for the entire family.
Prices start from 320 GBP ($527) per night, including VAT, based on two adults and two children, aged 16 or under.
