Sea World is urging parents to get in quick for December’s Sea Lab Sea School to avoid disappointment.
The program has been a big hit with kids and was booked out for 80% of this year’s September school holidays.
Robert Landman, Education Manager for Sea World said that he was delighted with the response to the new program. “We were very busy in September and a lot of parents were disappointed their kids missed out, so we are urging them to get in now and register for the December school holiday sessions.”
Hundreds of kids from both South East Queensland and interstate took advantage of Sea World’s fully supervised holiday education program which ran this September for the very first time.
Sea Lab Sea School is a unique program where children can experience behind the scenes activities and encounters with many of Sea World’s animals, carers and trainers.
With a different theme each day as well as arts and crafts, kids are never bored!
Run on selected days during the school holidays, the program is for children aged 6 to 13 years old and includes Sea World entry, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a certificate of participation.
“Kids have been responding really well to the program and the different theme each day is exciting for them.
They get to experience things here that they wouldn’t normally get to do anywhere else on a holiday care program,” said Mr Landman.
The program will kick off again in December for the summer school holiday season.
