The lodge is one of only a few in Africa with access to a private dam and the ability to offer a cruising experience.

Powered by a quiet four-stroke engine, it allows for excellent bird watching and low-impact game viewing from the water. With leather seats and marine grade carpet, the pontoon offers a comfortable game-viewing option, cruising the Malilangwe dam through the African landscape.

Common sightings range from hippos, crocodiles, elephant herds and water buck, to fish eagles, kingfishers and many other species of water birds such as cormorants, darters and crakes.
