Cruise West announced that children ages 18 and under will now pay 50 percent of the adult rate and kids age 2 or younger will travel for free on all voyages.
“Our goal in introducing the new kids’ rates is to attract families with inquisitive kids who yearn for the rich educational and enrichment focus of Cruise West’s itineraries,” said Dietmar Wertanzl, president and CEO.
“Coupled with the informal environment on board our small ships, we offer a cruising experience the entire family will enjoy and cherish for years.”
On most cruises, guests pay extra for soft drinks, taxes, port charges and shore excursions.
With Cruise West, the fare includes everything except alcohol and a few optional excursions in select ports. Prices on the four- to 19-night cruises start at $1,199 per person.
