Fancy enjoying a trip with Hurtigruten to Norway with the unique opportunity to sail direct from the UK and visit 12 of Norway’s main fjords with the country’s leading specialist cruise operator?
A new, one off voyage departing from Dover in April 2010 now makes this possible. MS Fram, the newest ship in the fleet will sail in Europe in Spring 2010 and offers something a little different for those who like the Hurtigruten experience.
The ‘Norwegian Highlights’ voyage departs Dover on 9 April and sails across the North Sea to the coastal port of Stavanger, an interesting Norwegian city that cleverly combines the old and new. From here the ship will visit 12 of the country’s fjords, and some of their villages.
In addition to this, the voyage will call at port in the cities of Ålesund and Bergen before the ship points its bow south west and pass coastline of the south before ending the voyage in Norway’s charming capital – Oslo. Whilst sailing, on board experts will ensure passengers get the most out of the voyage by taking them closer to Norway, it’s history and culture in typical Hurtigruten style.
The voyage costs from £1027 per person and includes full board on the ship.
The flight from Oslo to the UK and transfer back to Dover is extra and can be booked by Hurtigruten from £245pp.
Price includes early booking discount of 20% when booked before 30 November 2009.
