Fred Olsen’s is targeting group organizers with a special brochure, “Groupsaver” fares and complimentary space for planners.

“Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is targeting more group business with the publication of its first groups brochure,” said the line’s International Sales Manager Kate Wooldridge.

“Our company is committed to group leaders; we are able to assist in a number of ways helping to build communication and confidence. It is the initial step in a long relationship with the organizer who can expect expertise and cooperation from our traditional and trusted line.”

Fred Olsen ships, which range in capacity from 804 to 1,350 passengers, have intimate areas for groups to meet.

These are identified in the brochure along with other inclusions such as dedicated group travel support while booking and on board, promotional material, assistance with travel arrangements to/from the ship, free onboard lectures, all meals throughout the cruise, late-night buffet, welcome and farewell drinks parties, onboard leisure facilities, and the bonus of no extra service charges added for guests’ onboard drinks.

Added value options may include spending credits and cabin upgrades as well as group drinks parties and exclusive use of onboard facilities such as card room lecture areas, and exclusive group shore tours upon request.

Groups can also participate in two special interest Fred Olsen programs. The ArtsClub offers guests the opportunity to learn things such as ballroom dancing, choir singing, and art instruction.

And Flagship Golf provides professional instruction and greens play through the journey.
