Get Your Sailing Gear HereAmerican Safari Cruises is offering savings of $350 per person on two-week Inside Passage luxury yacht sailings between Seattle and Juneau.

With lower spring and fall pricing, the total savings brings beginning costs down to just over $500 per day per person.

To qualify for the savings, cruises must be booked by Jan. 31.

The 14-night cruises aboard the line’s three yachts depart from Seattle in late April and early May and return from Juneau in early September. “

This is an exceptional opportunity to see the Inside Passage for less than our regular-season rates,” said Tim Jacox, executive vice president of sales and marketing.

“After deducting the savings, the cruise fare ends up being as low as $750 total for the extra week.

Add to that spending two days in Glacier Bay where our guests will be able to go ashore and hike with a park ranger — that’s something folks on the big ships can’t do because of ecology restrictions.”

The three vessels — the 36-guest Safari Explorer, the 22-guest Safari Quest and the 12-guest Safari Spirit — will offer a two-week itinerary that touch on renowned Alaska sites, including Glacier Bay National Park, as well as out-of-the-way areas that few Alaska travelers see.

The cruises also include visits to Washington’s San Juan Islands and the Canadian Gulf Islands.

Throughout the cruises, wildlife will be a focus — orca whales, humpbacks, seals and sea lions, dolphins, porpoise, and birds on their northward migration. Alaska port calls will be Ketchikan and Petersburg.

All three yachts offer an on-deck hot tub, exercise equipment, two-person kayaks, motorized shore boats and a large-screen TV in the main salon.

Meals are prepared with fresh local ingredients, and the complimentary bar offers premium spirits, fine wines and microbrews.

Staterooms offer king, queen and twin beds with Tempur-pedic mattresses, private heated-floor bathrooms (some with Jacuzzis), and DVD players.

The guest-crew ratio is two-to-one, with an all-American crew that includes professional naturalists and captains with local knowledge. Amenities aboard the flagship Safari Explorer include a wine library, sauna, yoga sessions and complimentary massages from a wellness director/massage therapist, and a variety of cabins including two-room suites that can accommodate up to three people.

Per-person, double-occupancy dates and rates are: Safari Explorer, April 30 and Sept. 10, from $8,095;

Safari Quest, May 7 and Sept. 10, from $8,295; and Safari Spirit, April 30 and Sept. 3, from $9,995.
