Macau’s new Mandarin Oriental is set to open in mid-2010 bringing a range of accommodation and dining options to the city.

The Vida Rica Restaurant and Bar will be on the second floor of the hotel with views of the South China Sea and Nam Van Lake, while the 108-seat restaurant offers all-day dining with a selection of Chinese, Japanese and contemporary Western cuisine.

Guests can choose to sit in the main dining area or in one of the four semi-private rooms, ideal for gatherings of up to 12 people.

For guests requiring a more exclusive venue, the chef’s table provides a fully private option.

The Vida Rica’s Bar uses marble and chrome, together with double-height ceilings and windows, offering views of Macau’s evening skyline.

The Lobby Lounge will be open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight and with seating for 42 people.

The Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop serves a range of home-made chocolates and pastries presented in original packaging designs that are ideal for gifts and special occasions all year round.

Guests can choose from an extensive catalogue that includes sandwiches, freshly baked bread and cakes, or customize gift hampers for friends, colleagues and family. The Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
