Sunsail are delighted to announce a new charter destination in this extremely special, untouched Eastern Caribbean region, available to holidaymakers from October 2010. From the new base at Port Louis Marina in St. George’s, Sunsail will offer bareboat and skippered charters on a fleet consisting of 36 to 38 foot catamarans and monohullls, exclusive to Sunsail.

Known as the Gateway to the Grenadines, the cruising grounds of Grenada (The Spice Island) offer the most exceptional sailing conditions in the Eastern Caribbean along with pristine reefs, colourful coral gardens and access to the famous Tobago Cays!

Get Your Sailing Gear Here“We are delighted to be able to expand our charter offering in the Caribbean, and to be able to offer yet another unique and spectacular cruising ground. Grenada really does offer a true taste of what the Caribbean is all about; white sand beaches, turquoise seas and traditional cuisine are just a few of the delights you will encounter here, along with some superb sailing conditions. Grenada is definitely a destination not to be missed”. Simon Conder, Global Brand Manager

With so much to explore in this region, a Grenada yacht charter is filled with a huge choice of unforgettable experiences including swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving.

Onshore, this rolling mountainous island is dotted with world famous white and black sand beaches, crater lakes, rainforest and nutmeg plantations that the (spice) island is best known for. Grenada’s rum distillery tours are also a must for any seafaring sailor.

The tropical turquoise waters that lap against Grenada’s shores also provide easy access to neighboring islands. Sunsail will offer one-way charters from Grenada to our St Vincent base or vice versa, creating the opportunity to explore the Tobago Cays, Mayreau, Mustique, Bequia and St. Lucia along the way.
