Depending on the guests date of stay they can enjoy a Temple Street Night Market tour on Monday, Wednesday or Friday evening at 7pm or a Jade Market Tour on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday at 3pm.
The Temple St Night Markets are a local favourite and a wonderful place to spend the evening browsing countless stalls that sell locally-made clothing, lighters, pens, cds as well as electronics such as watches, radios, phones and audio visual equipment.
The Jade Market features 300 to 400 hawkers selling Jade rings; Jade Buddha’s and Jade animals.
During the market tours concierge staff will also highlight local authentic Hong Kong experiences near the hotel such as Tin Hau Temple, local fortune tellers, Chinese street opera, Snake shops, Dai Pai Dong food stalls and Kung Wo Tong which is famous for Chinese herbal teas and turtle jelly.
Guests can also experience the traditional art of Tai Chi with free lessons every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8am. The lessons are taught by Master Cheung in the stunning new outdoor location of T Garden on the lobby level of the hotel.
