A need for greater speed and access to destination information in preparing event tenders was the catalyst behind Nicole Wayman’s innovative new website, Event Planners Network.

From her north Queensland home in Port Douglas, Nicole Wayman put to work her 17 years of tourism and event management experience to create a one-stop website for event planners that is a first of its kind and has the ability to save valuable hours of research time.

“What we have is a website geared to the meetings, incentives and events industry showcasing Australian destinations for corporate groups. Instead of wasting time researching website after website of different product, we do it for you and share all event options available in each destination – be they concepts, tours, ideas, team building activities, dining themes or conference, incentive and partner programs.

“In addition to our „Ideas Corner, which is unique to EPN, the site features job listings, industry news, forums, event and familiarisation noticeboards and great deals for members,” she said.

According to Nicole, EPN will benefit all MICE professionals from professional conference organisers to hotel event managers while industry suppliers can use (the „Ideas Corner‟) to creatively promote their product to corporate clients.

Other benefits include a comprehensive directory of suppliers thanks to a free advertising partner listing level, insight into unique venues that include private residences and properties, a members review option for products and services and daily, home page spotlight on an individual advertising partner’s business that is free to Showcase level advertising partners.

The Free listing does enable advertising partners to post information in EPN‟s Ideas Corner while the three higher levels (Light $55 per year, Spotlight $110 per year and Showcase $275 per year) have added benefits including a free, business to business marketing opportunity to advertise special offers and great deals.

EPN’s creator, Nicole Wayman said she is now seeking submissions for her website’s „Ideas Corner. The only criteria is a detailed description of the activity posted and the business must be listed in the directory.
