Sandy River Outfitters just received a new territory from Manitoba
Natural Resources this summer. The area has not been hunted
for 5 years. They will be hunting it for the first time this fall bear season.

Since they just acquired this area and it is last minute they have decided
to give hunters that can book for this fall a $500 discount off the price
of their bear hunting and fishing all-inclusive package.

Current Special Offers

The regular price is $2950 plus 5% GST tax.
We are offering it for this fall only for $2450 plus 5% GST tax.
Bear licenses are $317 CDN.

On this Fall Bear Hunt, hunters can shoot one Coyote & one Timber Wolf
at no additional cost & then still shoot their bear!

Our hunts are 6 full days of hunting, hunters arrive in Winnipeg, the Sunday before the hunt, and hunt Monday to Saturday, and leave the Sunday after the hunt. Hunts are all inclusive, including travel from Winnipeg International Airport, to and from camp, or meet in Winnipeg if you are driving up. Food, lodging with all amenities, skinning and care of trophy, and licensed guides.

Boats, motors and gas are included in our bear hunting packages as our lodge is located on the Winnipeg River and there is excellent fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, and Small Mouth Bass. As a hunter your only responsibilities are to shoot straight and enjoy your hunting and fishing. Hunters are also welcome to take one of our ATV’S and come baiting with us as we have over 60 bait stations that need to be re-baited every 3 to 4 days, bait sites are a minimum of 5 miles apart. All hunts are over pre-baited bait sites. We have many more active bait sites than hunters each year, this gives us the opportunity to change bait sites often and only hunt the mature trophy bears. Stands are 14ft high and 14-15 yards from the bait, giving all our hunters, bow or rifle a good look at the animal to ensure that it is of trophy size. We start baiting a full month before our first hunters arrive. We have all the different color phases of bears including blonde, chocolate, and cinnamon.

.

Call us today to lock this awesome hunt for 2011.

PowerPlay Golf comes to The Shropshire Golf Centre

August 21, 2011 on 6:06 pm | In Golf Resorts, London, United Kingdom | Comments Off

PowerPlay Golf, the sport’s exciting new format, launched to worldwide acclaim in May is coming to The Shropshire Golf Centre.

The Telford public pay-and-play facility will be staging a special PowerPlay Golf event on Sunday, August 28, which is open to golfers from all over the region.

Played over the picturesque Blue Course at The Shropshire – part of Burhill Golf & Leisure, the UK’s leading golf course owner and operator – the event will start at 9am with tee times available throughout the day and plenty of prizes on offer for the leading men, ladies and juniors.

PowerPlay Golf is a 9-hole Stableford competition with a twist…there are two flags on every green – a white and a more difficult black one. Players must nominate which flag they are aiming for before the start of each hole and will score double points for a net birdie or better when playing to the more challenging black PowerPlay flag.

However, with only three PowerPlays available for the first eight holes players must use them wisely. On the final hole each player has the choice of using a PowerPlay regardless of whether or not they have deployed their allotted three – should a competitor use a last hole PowerPlay they could snatch victory at the death! However, a bogey or worse will cause them to lose three points.

Stuart Perry, The Shropshire Golf Centre General Manager, said: “Since the first professional PowerPlay event at Celtic Manor in May, interest in the exciting new format of the game has rocketed. We are looking to stage regular PowerPlay events at The Shropshire and invite players from all over the region to join in the fun.”

To enter contact The Shropshire Golf Centre on 01952 677800 or visit www.theshropshire.co.uk  for further details.
