With winter and the holiday season approaching, San Diego hotels are offering a variety of packages certain to warm any holiday traveler’s heart.

From November 22 through December 31, 2011, the AAA 5 Diamond-rated Grand Del Mar in northern San Diego is offering a Holiday Grandeur Package that includes overnight accommodations for two and a $50 resort credit per room (and $100 resort credit per suite).

Rates start at $365 per night (and $665 per night for suites), exclusive of tax and gratuity. With its new 20,000-sq. ft.
