A new $7 million Best Western hotel opened in Dilijan, Armenia. The Best Western Paradise hotel features 58 rooms, a restaurant, an outdoor café, conference hall for 120 seats, a swimming pool and children’s playground.
Armenia has begun to reach for its travel and tourism potential and hopes to attract leading hotel operators. In 2012, a new-build hotel, to be managed by Hyatt, will open. In 2013, in the center of Yerevan, a five-star Kempinski will open with 150 rooms. A Wyndham property is also planned also planned in the Noy region of the Armenian capital. It will be the first hotel of Wyndham Hotel Group hospitality chain in Armenia.
