Within the Wild Adventure Company Sells Redoubt Bay Lodge
July 7, 2012 on 11:00 am | In Adventure Travel, Alaska, Cabinweb | Comments OffAlaska-based luxury travel operator Within the Wild Adventure Company has sold the Redoubt Bay Lodge to the Brewer family, a long-time Alaska tourism presence. Located on the edge of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve in South Central Alaska, Redoubt Bay Lodge is a prime spot for bear viewing and fishing during summer. The lodge offers half- and full-day trips and accommodates overnight guests in three cabins.
The Brewer family operates Alaska West Air, which has been in business since the early 1980s, providing cabin rentals, flightseeing and hunting and bear-viewing tours on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula and in Southwest Alaska. The current lodge staff will remain in place through the season, which ends Sept. 15. Within the Wild Adventure Company will work closely with Alaska West Air throughout the transition.
