Palace Resorts – the company that sets the standard in five-star, all-inclusive resort accommodations – announces the addition of the popular wave simulator, FlowRider Double®, at Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, available as of November 15th, 2012.
The new wave simulator is the latest addition to the brand’s unique and comprehensive package of offerings, and Moon Palace will be the first property in Mexico to offer the wildly popular attraction.
Created by Waveloch®, the FlowRider Double creates two lanes of perfect endless waves, pumping thousands of gallons of water over a riding surface, and offering hours of surfing excitement for all ages. Participants can drop in on their own unbroken “wave,” feel the power and acceleration, carve a turn, do maneuvers and cut back. While kids can bodyboard on the new FlowRider, the more advanced and adventurous guests can use the standup “flowboards.”
“The FlowRider Double is yet another example of how we are continuously seeking to improve the all-inclusive experience for our guests,” said Gibran Chapur, executive vice president of Palace Resorts “This year alone, we have hosted concerts by Enrique Iglesias and Jon Secada, two world-renowned artists.
“We recently announced Cirque Dreams will present a limited engagement of their Broadway hit “Jungle Fantasy” at Moon Palace this summer, and now, we are permanently installing a FlowRider, which will surely be a favored feature amongst our guests.”
“We are excited to collaborate with Palace Resorts on such an exciting attraction for its guests. As one of the leading properties in Mexico, we are sure that the Flowrider Double will be a big hit,” said Ori Vicente, FlowRider Program Manager for Mexico.
The FlowRider Double will be introduced as an upgraded feature to the list of Palace Resorts’ all-inclusive amenities. There is a cost of $75 per person, per hour to experience the wave simulator, and to ensure all guests can maximize their time and enjoyment on the FlowRider, a maximum of 10 people will be allowed a time. Guests can also use the resort’s popular Resort Credit toward the use of this action packed adventure.
The FlowRider Double is the latest addition to Palace Resorts’ growing family amenities. Most recently, the brand announced the “Family Connections Program” as part of their all-inclusive package, a concept created to strengthen family bonds through one-of-a-kind vacation experiences without sacrificing the premium level amenities and services that allow parents to reconnect as a couple. In addition, Palace Resorts introduced their new signature kid’s club, “Connection Zone.”
The new club includes additional amenities, services and activities to its already well-established kid program. Connection Zone is also part of the all-inclusive offerings, available at the brand’s four family-friendly properties: Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, Beach Palace, Playacar Palace and Cozumel Palace.
Whether staying at Moon Palace, or any of the brand’s seven properties, every Palace Resorts guest is treated to most attentive service and finest amenities of any all-inclusive concept.
In addition to the upcoming FlowRider, all guests enjoy: luxurious accommodations with double Jacuzzis; in-room liquor dispensers carrying premium brand spirits; fine dining at specialty restaurants; 24-hour room service; entertainment; unlimited Wi-Fi; and unlimited long-distance calls to the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Guests who book a stay of five-nights or more can take advantage of Palace Resorts’ most valuable and popular vacation promotion – the $1,500 Resort Credit offer. On top of the already unmatched all-inclusive offerings, resort credits can be used towards usage of the FlowRider Double, room upgrades, spa and beauty salon treatments, golf outings, romantic dinners, Colin Cowie Wedding packages, and off-site excursions and tours.
