Don’t let the wet weather wipe out your hopes of camping this summer, simply ramp up the levels of luxury and go five-star instead.

Parc des Alicourts, Centre

This five-star Loire Valley campsite has a huge range of facilities including a new indoor spa pool, wave pool, massage, sauna and fitness centre.

The site is set in a forest so biking and hiking is popular and the park has its own lake with sandy beach.
