Rydges Hotels and Resorts, one of the founding members of Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), will re-join the group in early 2013. Rydges Hotels and Resorts was one of the inaugural brands behind GHA’s creation in 2004, but did not stay to witness the expansion that has seen GHA grow to over 15 brands with hotels on six continents. Nine years later, Rydges along with brand partners QT Hotels & Resorts and Art Series Hotels will once again be a GHA member, benefiting from GHA’s extensive customer network, including GHA Discovery, the alliance’s shared loyalty program with nearly 3 million members.

The three brands owned or managed by Amalgamated Holdings Limited, Australia’s leading leisure and entertainment group, consist of 44 hotels with 7,100 rooms located in 21 destinations in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. QT Hotels & Resorts is a collection of premium designer hotels, offering a luxurious and exciting guest experience with an edgy, contemporary style. Art Series Hotels features boutique properties located in some of Melbourne’s hottest locations and inspired by three of Australia’s most-collected living artists. The Rydges Hotels and Resorts portfolio, since its inception in 1998, has forged a proud tradition in offering guests a warm and genuine welcome across its city, suburban and resort locations. AHL hotel brands integration into GHA will be completed in early 2013, and they will officially become members on April 1, 2013.
