The Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires recently unveiled the first phase of a $40 million renovation featuring redecorated rooms and suites, a new lobby, freshly landscaped grounds, and three new dining and drinking venues.

The property has operated as a hotel since 1992 with the addition of a modern 12-story tower to the historic 1920 La Mansion property.

Four Seasons has managed the hotel since 2001.

Located in Buenos Aires’ La Recoleta district, the Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires features 116 spacious guest rooms and 49 suites, including seven one-of-kind suites in the property’s adjacent La Mansion. A $40 million renovation has thoughtfully redesigned the hotel and encompasses the lobby, guest rooms, landscape grounds and three new dining concepts.

Four floors of the hotel have now been renovated, with the remainder scheduled for completion in 2013.

Newly renovated guest rooms and suite will feature leather-clad sliding doors between bed and bath, leather-wrapped drawer handles, and alpaca-embossed headboards. Bath areas feature Italian marble with blue and turquoise glass mosaics, plus an LCD television built into the mirror.
