Necker Island – The Great House on Necker Island is now nearing completion and looks set to be open again mid-2013. Many of the beautiful features of the former Great House will be incorporated into the new design to ensure it retains its authentic Balinese style with panoramic views of the Caribbean but will include a couple of new and innovative twists. For larger groups the luxury 105ft catamaran, Necker Belle has been moored alongside Necker Island too, providing additional accommodation and a stunning way to explore the Caribbean.

Necker Island is usually hired exclusively for up to 28 guests on an all-inclusive basis, perfect for special occasions and events. It can also be shared with others ‘house-party’ style during Celebration Weeks held several times each year, when guests can book individual rooms. Biras Creek – Biras Creek on Virgin Gorda has launched a NEW Sailaway package for travellers who want to combine a stay at the boutique resort with sailing the turquoise waters of the BVI. Holidaymakers can spend up to 4 nights sailing on board the Crystal Clear, a 62 foot crewed ketch. The yacht has a main cabin with a king size bed and private bathroom, TV/DVD player and four windows in the stern affording wonderful ocean views. Itineraries are tailor made so holidaymakers can visit different islands, deserted beaches and find the best spots for snorkelling and swimming (the sailing element can be added at the beginning or end of a stay).

Guests also have use of the resort’s Boston Whalers to explore nearby beaches and take snorkelling trips.

Towards the end of 2012 Biras Creek underwent extensive refurbishment to create a fresh and clean feel for 2013. The showers and bathrooms were overhauled, new phones installed in all rooms, new furniture in a number of rooms and a range of interior fit-outs including new solid mahogany doors and restaurant renovations.

Move well, feel well, be well® is the philosophy of New York City fitness professional, Frank Baptiste. His experience working with a variety of clients of all ages and abilities from new mothers to professional athletes will help students, during three classes each day, learn the skills they need to achieve fitness goals and keep them moving well both during this program, and after they return home.

The beachside and poolside workshops including Move Well Morning Workout, Jump Rope Techniques, 21st Century Core Training, and Kettlebell Sessions will have the calories melting and the muscle building.

Experience the ancient discipline of yoga while practicing postures in the beautiful environment of Rosewood Little Dix Bay. Johnny Anzalone, a certified instructor of Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga, Meditation, Pilates and dance, will lead students through daily classes. The classes will consist of Multi-Level Yoga, Meditation, Core Strength and Stretch, and the Choreography of Asana and Alignment. The core work practice will be held throughout the tranquil resort and on secluded beaches, and will offer the knowledge needed to enhance body, mind and spirit.
