African Travel is offering a package for travel to KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, priced from $5,308 per person double occupancy including air fare from New York or Washington, D.C. The package is structured to provide encounters with beaches, Zulu culture and wildlife, including the endangered African rhinos.
The program includes time in the Indian Ocean beach city of Durban, and a chance to experience its rich urban mix of cultures from Europe, India and Africa. Then it goes out to the bush for a safari at a luxury lodge in Mkuze Falls Private Reserve with two game drives a day and dinners in the bushveldt under the stars. The area has lions, leopards, elephants, white rhinos, buffalos, cheetahs, hippos, zebras and antelopes and more than 400 species of birds.
