EverGreen Escapes, an operator of tours that combine adventure with an epicurean element in the area from Northern California to British Columbia, introduced a program that explores the culinary and natural features of Oregon.
It is a four-day, three-night program that includes a wine dinner 7,500 feet up the slopes of Mount Hood, an encounter with Chinook salmon on the coast, an exploration of the Columbia River Gorge and Hood River Valley, views of waterfalls, walks in wine country, a private tour and tasting at Full Sail Brewing, a wine tasting and tour at Marchesi Winery, and a night at Oregon’s Timberline Lodge. The trip can be booked as a private journey, or on a set departure with up to 10 people. It’s priced from $2,750 per person double occupancy.
