An Australia-based car rental comparison and booking site called VroomVroomVroom.com has now entered the U.S. market. The company, which also operates in New Zealand, Canada and the United Kingdom, has planted its U.S. roots in Las Vegas.
The website allows customers to make reservations with all of the major rental car companies in more than 2,500 U.S. locations, including all major airports, city centers and towns. The company claims that its site offers the industry’s fastest interface, can complete a reservation in less than 30 seconds, and processes more than 1,000 reservations per day in the U.S. market.
In the U.S., the company is competing with at least two other car rental comparison and bookings sites, CarRantals.com and RentalCars.com, as well as with online travel agencies that offer car rentals along with air and hotel reservations, like Expedia.com, Travelocity.com and Priceline.com.
