Upon arrival in Buenos Aires on December 19, guests will be transferred to their 4-star hotel and have the day to explore Argentina’s bustling capital. The next day, hop on a flight to Iguazu and enjoy a half day visit to one of the local, indigenous communities, the Guarani Mborore or Iriapu people. After a night in one of Iguazu’s 4-star hotels, the third day of this itinerary features a full-day private excursion to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls and National Park for spectacular views of more than 200 waterfalls. Guests will finish this day by boarding a train to the greatest falls in the park: the Devil’s Throat.

After a travel day, this itinerary continues on to Mendoza with a half-day private wine tour through Lujan de Cuyo, a region known as the Cradle of Malbec. This tour will follow Mendoza’s Wine Road with stops at some of the region’s most prestigious wineries and an optional lunch prepared by a renowned chef who designed the menu to be paired with Mendoza’s variety of wines. The sixth day returns to Lujan de Cuyo for a full-day, semi-private wine tour with visits to two wineries in the morning, Catena Zapata and De Cero, where guests will be treated to a 5-course lunch with wine pairings. The tour will continue in the afternoon with a visit to the last winery, Achaval Ferrer, a boutique winery producing only premium wines.

On Christmas Day, return to Buenos Aires and enjoy the day at leisure to take in the city’s Christmas atmosphere. On the trip’s eighth day, guests will go on a morning half-day tour to get an overview of the city and the neighborhoods of Retiro, Palermo, 9th of July Avenue, the Colon Opera House and more. Then, spend the last afternoon on an art tour of Buenos Aires with stops at the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Latin American Art in Buenos Aires and a final stop at one of the city’s main contemporary galleries.*** The remaining time in Buenos Aires can be spent at leisure before returning home on the tenth day.
