HomeAdventure TravelACE Cultural Tours Launches 2014 Brochure: Including More Than 50 New Tours

ACE Cultural Tours is delighted to launch our 2014 Annual Brochure, introducing more than 50 new cultural tours to worldwide destinations.

We mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War with two new tours, A Journey Through The Great War and Vienna 1914, as well as a special week of events at Stapleford Granary.

Two new European art tours trace the fascinating Route of Caravaggio between Rome, Naples, Sicily and Malta, and examine The Great Spanish Masters: From El Greco to Sorolla in Toledo and Madrid, taking in two exhibitions coinciding with the 400th anniversary of El Greco’s death.

Exciting new far-flung departures include The Secret History of the Mongols, Gujarat: Traditional Crafts and Tribal Communities and Japan in Autumn: Art, Temples and Gardens. We are delighted to reintroduce our spectacular tour exploring the dramatic natural history of New Zealand.

Expanding into new formats, we combine the expertise of two specialists to create a rich programme of Art & Music in St Petersburg, and inaugurate a three part lecture series in partnership with Classic Discovery – Mediaeval to Modern: Six Eras of Classical Music – with musician and broadcaster Sandy Burnett.

Founded in 1958, ACE Cultural Tours is the UK’s most experienced cultural tour operator. With a growing portfolio of over 1000 specially tailored tours for small groups, ACE offers over 200 departures every year. Every tour is led by a Tour Director – both a specialist in their field and a convivial host – and the tour groups regularly enjoy privileged access to private buildings, collections and performers. Owned by the charity the ACE Foundation, all tour profits are used to fund educational projects in the UK and abroad.
