1. Experience the world’s largest collection of Florida art!

The Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art just opened in February 2015 on the grounds of Smithsonian-affiliated Museum of Arts & Sciences). It’s a $13 million facility filled with 2,700 paintings dating from the 19th century, the most extensive collection of Florida art in the world. This 26,000-square-foot home of the Brown’s unprecedented personal collection is an architectural jewel. It features a mezzanine showcasing their signature pieces, six changing galleries, conference and education rooms, a charming café with outdoor seating and an eclectic gift shop.

Daytona International Speedway – the World Center of Racing is fast-becoming the World Center of Entertainment, and its $400-million refurbishment is nearly complete. Speedway Tours and the Richard Petty Driving Experience are must-see summer excursions, but don’t miss celebrating Independence Day at the Coke Zero 400 Weekend, which features of NASCAR Spring Cup Series racing and the biggest fireworks display in the Southeast – all under the summer stars.
