The Spots Rich In History
Every part of Italy that you go to is going to be rich in culture and history. Every single part has a story to tell, and that’s what we truly love about the place! But there are some parts of it that are even more spectacular than others, and it’s part of the reason why so many go to them. So, the biggest hotspot that you have to start your grand tour off with, is Rome. Here you will find so much in relation to the Roman’s, and how Italy has evolved into the country that it is today. It can be quite busy, but if you start this journey at the right time of the year, then you should be able to beat the crowds. There’s plenty to do here, but you would only really need five days to do it all. The Vatican has to be on your hit list, as this is one of the most history rich places in Italy. With it being a highly religious country, locals and tourists flock here every day to bask in its glory. Taking a guided tour is highly recommended, as they will give you all of the facts related to the Vatican’s history, as well as Romes! There are so many other areas of Italy that you can visit that will give you that rich history experience, but we feel like Rome is the perfect place to dip your toes in the water!
Soaking Up The Sun On The Coast
The coast of Italy is said to be one of the most beautiful and picturesque in the world, and we really feel like people aren’t giving it the credit that it deserves. It’s truly stunning, with the incredible views of the old town on one side of you, and the most beautiful coastline on the other. If you visit here in the height of summer, temperatures really do sore, so it’ll be like that summer holiday that your body needs. One thing to be noted about the Amalfi coast, is the sea food is just to die for. Some of the best is caught not far off the coast, and brought in daily for the locals and tourists to eat! Campania is one of the most well known parts of the coast to visit, and is southwest in relation to the country. It’s comprised of the likes of Naples and Sorrento, which are two of the biggest hot stops when it comes to Italy. In these towns, you will find so much culture, but different to that that you would find further inland. Here, the culture is based around the coast that raised the italian people to be who they are today. The vibe is just so relaxed and serene, that once you get a taste of this part of Italy, you’ll only ever be coming back for more!
Must See Stops Along The Way
In between all of this exploring, there are a few obvious stops that you need to make. The one that we want to make note of, is Venice. It’s an obvious hot spot that few have been lucky to visit. But because of global warming and ecological changes, experts are not sure how long the Venice we know and love today, is going to be the way it is!Follow and Share with Jetsettersblog.
