Insight Vacations, the award-winning global leader in premium escorted journeys, is thrilled to show guests the insights – not just the sights – of Europe with the launch of its new 2019 Europe and Britain collection.
Travelers can live the stylish travel life on their next vacation with a choice of 96 unforgettable journeys, including three brand new trips to Scandinavia and Greece. In addition, Insight Vacations has further enhanced several itineraries, such as its ‘Jordan Experience,’ which now includes a meaningful visit to the Iraq Al-Amir Women’s Cooperative, an Insight Cares and TreadRight project that is managed and run by local women. More than ever, it’s important to book a holiday with a company that cares. Insight makes travel matter. Powered by TreadRight, a joint initiative among The Travel Corporation family of brands, Insight Vacations helps safeguard the people, planet and wildlife in the places they visit so they can be enjoyed by generations to come.
Insight Vacations offers over 70 unique Insight Experiences which allow guests to get up close and personal with their destination and connect with the local culture. Guests become insightfully stylish by staying at hotels handpicked for their great locations and dine in a variety of styles, from an elegant evening at the five-star Ashford Castle, to a rustic dinner with the matriarch of an Italian family. Insight’s knowledgeable Travel Directors are masters of logistics and deliver a seamless, stress-free vacation; they are living proof that magic isn’t imaginary, it’s just very well planned.
“As the top Europe specialists for the past 40 years, we continue to innovate in 2019 by offering travelers incredible experiences, meaningful interactions and the best value,” said Jon Grutzner, president of Insight Vacations. “We want our guests to truly connect to these amazing places in the most authentic way and at the best times, such as during Venice Carnival, Bastille Day, Oktoberfest, Edinburgh Tattoo and Christmas market season.”
A journey with Insight Vacations introduces new friends and faces across Europe, from like-minded traveling companions, to accomplished locals. For example hosts like chef Alessandro, who founded an organic farm-to-table trattoria with his Nonna, introduce guests to Italian cuisine in the most memorable way. In Dublin, Joseph O’Gorman, a Trinity College scholar, welcomes guests to the 400-year-old university and shares his in-depth knowledge about the ancient manuscript and precious artifact, The Book of Kells. In San Sebastian, Spain, renowned for its lively culinary scene, local gourmet Clara Fernandez takes guests on a pintxos foodie excursion in the Old Town. In Asturias, guests enjoy a Dine-at-Home experience with a meal cooked by Flor Santiago, sample her famous cider and make the perfect pisto (ratatouille).
