The Kent and East Sussex Railway will be running a promotion over the summer holidays, which allows one child to travel free with every Adult TravelCard purchased.
You can take advantage of those offer between July 25 and September 3.
The railway’s restored steam locomotive and carriages will take everyone on a journey through the beautiful Wealden countryside from Tenterden to Bodiam where passengers can choose to take a 15 minute walk to see the stunning Bodiam Castle.
A valid Kent & East Sussex Railway Travel Card will allow passengers to hop on and off at any of the stations along the ten and a half mile line and allows discounted admission into this magnificent Medieval Castle ruin owned by the National Trust.
Tenterden Station also have additional free activities on offer for passengers travelling on the railway during the Summer Holidays.
Punch and Judy and Magic Shows will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from Wednesday, July 26.
Face painters will be at Tenterden Station on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 25.
On Train Guides will be providing information about the line and its rich history on Tuesdays from July 25.
Monday Madness – free dessert for each hot meal purchased on any Monday in the summer holidays
Fishy Fridays – Fish and chips with soft drink for £10 at Tenterden Station.
