CAÑON CITY, Colorado—The Royal Gorge Route Railroad is a two hour rail cruise through the Royal Gorge that covers 24-miles and travels directly through the Royal Gorge and over the famous Hanging Bridge.
For a unique way to experience the “Grand Canyon of the Arkansas,” book a seat in a Vista Dome car — these classic 1950’s glass topped dome car offer the best seats in the house (train?) with unobstructed views from the upper level.
The Vista Dome class also includes the option of ordering from the Vista Dome Menu of quality food prepared with choice ingredients. Nothing comes close to the experience and nostalgia of riding the rails.
The Royal Gorge Route owns the largest collection of glass topped dome cars in the lower 48 states.
Trains depart daily from May 24 through October 12.
Vista Dome class tickets start at $57.95 for adults and $46.50 for children (ages 0-12), but there are a wide variety of classes to choose from that range between $32.95 to $155.
