This is a landscape that encapsulates both endless space and endless activity – soaring mountains that beg to be discovered on foot or by helicopter, dramatic icy fjords that are best navigated by agile kayaks bobbing brightly on the water, and national parks where total immersion is the only way forward.
This month, we’ve brought you a snippet of Alaska, from people who have experienced this vast wilderness.
