Corporate travel management company TripActions is spreading its wings with expansion in two European markets.
As part of global expansion plans, TripActions is opening a EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam and will also open an office in London.
TripActions will use the same hub-and-spoke model when it expands to the Asia-Pacific region later this year, the company said.
“We had this vision to be a startup that is always going for it and creating an end-to-end business travel solution that includes the globe. The launch in Europe is just the first step in our international footprint,” said CEO Ariel Cohen.
Bay-Area based TripActions says it seeing 23% month-over-month growth as it reaches nearly 1,000 customers.
Its rapid growth will see the workforce nearly triple from 250 to 800 within the next 18 months.
Its end-to-end platform offers personalized options for flights and hotels
Travelers receive notifications of flight delays or cancellations, with travel agents proactively providing other booking options via chat or phone.
It says clients typically save about 34% on their travel spend.
“TripActions was founded to help end the stress that road warriors experience on the road,” Cohen said.
“In order to support the infrastructure needed to do it, we need to put physical footprints in regions where planning travel may be challenging. We’re committed to being there for our customers and travelers in every way we can.”
