Air Canada is upping its game to lure more premium American flyers.
It will offer lie-flat seats on some wide body overnight routes.
Beginning June 1, flights from Toronto to Los Angeles and San Francisco will feature the ‘Air Canada Signature Service’, which the carrier describes as a ‘level of service unsurpassed in North America.’
The service comes with the added perks of Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge access, expedited check-in and priority boarding.
It will also be available on some Vancouver-Newark flights.
“We know our premium customers traveling on longer flight itineraries place a high value on convenience and comfort when in airports or on board an aircraft,” said Ben Smith, Air Canada’s president of passenger airlines.
“We are the first North American airline designating aircraft with lie-flat seats to U.S. originating premium customers traveling select transborder routes.”
