Alaska Airlines loyalty members have a new way to spend their Alaska Mileage Plan points.
An expanded partnership has been announced with Rocketmiles, allowing members to use their miles to book rooms at more than 400,000 hotels and resorts globally.
Alaska Mileage members can also pay with a mix of miles and cash for hotel stays and earn from 500 up to 10,000 miles for every night they separately book.
“Redeeming miles for hotels was among the most requested enhancements to Mileage Plan, and our members now have the ability to redeem valuable Alaska miles for both flights and hotels,” said Alaska managing director Ryan Butz.
The airline has rolled out the mileageplanhotels.com platform for members to earn and redeem rewards for hotel stays.
“This travel portal unlocks a new way for Mileage Plan members to use their coveted miles. We look forward to strengthening the relationship and maximizing the value of Mileage Plan miles,” Rocketmiles chief revenue officer Bart Welch said in a release.
