Delta Direct Service to the Out Islands – Delta Airlines has announced new direct service from its Atlanta gateway to The Exumas, The Abacos and Eleuthera. The airline launched nonstop service in mid-August to Exuma International Airport (GGT) and Marsh Harbour International Airport (MHH) in The Abacos, and will continue to roll out nonstop services across the other Out Islands through to August 2018. delta.com
New Ferry Service between Miami and Freeport – beginning November 9, 2017, FRS Caribbean will offer direct ferry service from Miami to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, continuing to bring travellers coming via Florida to the island.
The FRS San Gwann will operate Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between the Port of Miami and Freeport Harbour, with the capacity to comfortably bring more than 400 passengers to The Islands Of The Bahamas. Monday and Thursday sailings will depart Miami at 8:00 a.m. for an approximate arrival of 11:15 a.m. in Freeport.
